Bhubaneswar, September 14: In view of safety-related modernisation work in Brahmapur–Rambha Down Line section of the Khurda Road Division, the East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to short terminate and short originate two MEMU train services at Khallikote Railway Station on September 15, 16 and 19.
As per an ECoR release, Train No. 68411 Bhubaneswar - Brahmapur MEMU will be short terminated at Khallikote instead of Brahmapur on 15, 16 and 19 September 2026.
Similarly, Train No. 68412 Brahmapur to Bhubaneswar MEMU will originate from Khallikote instead of Brahmapur on 15, 16 and 19 September 2026.
“As a result, the train services between Khallikote and Brahmapur will remain cancelled for the above-mentioned period,” it stated.
The ECoR urged the passengers to take note of the changes and plan their journeys accordingly.
“For updated train information, passengers may visit the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) or use official railway enquiry services before commencing their journey,” it urged.
