Cuttack, Feb 3: Ahead of matric examination 2024 from February 20, the Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha has directed that expect centre superintendents no other person will be allowed to carry mobile phones inside the exam centres.
Only centre superintendent or deputy superintendent can receive question paper from nodal centre in presence of invigilators. The board has asked to receive question papers as per the ratio of candidates.
If any deviation is found in question papers, the centre superintendents will have to report it immediately to secret cell deputy secretary Debananda Nayak.
In case of extra packet of question paper, the centre superintendent will keep it under his/her custody and deposit before the despatch team of nodal centre.
Similarly, taking signature of two examinees is mandatory before opening of each question paper packet.
Opening of question paper before due time will be considered as a punishable offence.
Besides, the centre superintendents will have to inform the local police station before keeping of question paper in strong room.
