Bhubaneswar, June 21: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast thunderstorm and lightning activity across several districts of Odisha over the next few days, accompanied by gusty winds.
A Yellow Warning has been issued, signaling potential weather disturbances that may pose localized threats.

June 22
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty surface winds with speeds reaching 30-40 kmph are likely at one or two places in the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Koraput, and Rayagada.

Similar conditions are expected in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, Bargarh, Bolangir, Nuapada, Sambalpur, Sonepur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Nabarangpur, Koraput, Malkangiri, Rayagada, Gajapati, and Ganjam.
June 24
Thunderstorms with lightning and gusty winds may occur at one or two locations in Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapada, and Jagatsinghpur.
June 25
Heavy rainfall has also been forecast in addition to thunderstorms and lightning in Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Balasore, and Bhadrak districts.
