Bhubaneswar, Aug 23: Odisha Home Department on Friday asked senior IPS Officer DS Kutey and Ashish Singh to file submission regarding the official misconduct levelled against them.
The government has issued directions to the top cops, who serve as the Officers on Special Duty (OSD) with the Home Department to put forth their submissions to the authorities within a period of 30 days in their defence against the departmental proceedings pending against them.
The Odisha Home Department informed that an enquiry is proposed to be held on imputation of misconduct of the IPS officers. They have been directed to submit written statements in defence at the earliest, following which enquiry will be held ex-parte.
Worth mentioning, DS Kuttey, Special Secretary to the former Odisha CM, was trasnsferred to New Delhi for his alleged assistance to the former BJD government while Ashish Singh had to face a Medical Board Examination in AIIMS Bhubaneswar for his alleged involvement in the Odisha election.
