Bhubaneswar, May 1: The Odisha government will conduct joint public grievance hearings across all districts on Monday, May 5, in a bid to address citizens' complaints directly through the district administration.
The General Administration and Public Grievance Department has announced that online registration for the hearings will open at 11 AM on May 2 via the Janasunani portal (https://janasunani.odisha.gov.in/).
Registered citizens will have the opportunity to meet with their respective District Collector and Superintendent of Police to present their concerns in person. Attendees must carry a copy of their registration acknowledgment, valid ID proof, and a written copy of their grievance to the designated venue at the allotted time.
To ensure inclusivity, the department has also made provisions for individuals who have not registered online, allowing them to submit their petitions directly at the hearing camps.
This initiative is part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to create a transparent and citizen-friendly grievance redressal mechanism. The department has encouraged the public to actively participate and make use of this platform to resolve their issues.
