Odisha Govt Launches e-Pavilion on MSME Global Mart to Expand Market Access

Bhubaneswar, August 3:The Odisha government has launched a dedicated State e-Pavilion on MSME Global Mart to provide micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in the state with greater visibility and improved access to domestic as well as international markets.

Odisha Chief Secretary Anu Garg launched the digital platform on Thursday in the presence of National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC) Chairman and Managing Director Subhransu Sekhar Acharya.

Earlier, Acharya met Garg and discussed measures to further strengthen Odisha’s MSME ecosystem. He briefed the Chief Secretary on several NSIC initiatives, including the National SC-ST Hub Scheme, TEAM initiative and SRI Fund, while also highlighting the recently launched MSME Global Mart 2.0.

The meeting also focused on leveraging the digital platform to connect Odisha’s MSMEs with a wider network of buyers and markets, while promoting greater coordination between the NSIC and the state government.

Garg emphasised the importance of a “Government as a Whole” approach to strengthen digital enablement, inclusive procurement and market access for MSMEs across Odisha.

The newly launched Odisha State e-Pavilion will feature a diverse range of enterprises and products, including One District One Product (ODOP) items, Geographical Indication (GI)-tagged products, cluster-based offerings and products from artisan enterprises.

The platform is expected to create a structured digital channel for Odisha’s MSMEs to showcase their products to buyers beyond the state, helping enhance their market reach, visibility and competitiveness.

The initiative is aligned with the broader objectives of the Digital India, Make in India and Vocal for Local programmes, according to an official statement.
