Mumbai, October 16: Actress Shilpa Shetty, currently involved in a Rs 60-crore cheating case with her husband, businessman Raj Kundra, informed the Bombay High Court on Thursday that she was withdrawing her petition seeking permission to travel abroad. She explained that her travel plans had not materialized.

Her lawyer, Niranjan Mundargi, presented the update before a bench comprising Chief Justice Shree Chandrashekhar and Justice Gautam Ankhad, confirming that Shetty no longer wished to pursue the application.

Mundargi further stated, "Should she and her husband wish to travel abroad in the future, they will submit a new application for court approval. She is not pursuing the current plea any longer."
