Bhubaneswar, Aug 8: Odisha government on Wednesday effected a major reshuffle at the IAS level and appointed new Collectors in as many as 20 districts of the state.
The General Administration & Public Grievance Department of the state government issued a notification in this regard late last evening. In this reshuffle, new appointments have also been made for several significant posts.

Dr. Bijay Ketan Upadhyaya, who is currently serving as the Secretary of the Board of Revenue in Odisha, Cuttack, has been appointed as the Director of Odia Language, Literature, and Culture. Additionally, he will continue to hold the position of Director, Odisha Paribar.
Ashish Thakare, currently serving as the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Balasore, has been appointed as the Secretary of the Board of Revenue, Odisha, Cuttack.
Dilip Routrai, the Director of Odia Language, Literature, and Culture with the additional charge of Director, Odisha Paribar, has been appointed as the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Bhadrak.
Kamal Lochan Mishra, the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Nabarangpur, has been appointed as the Executive Director of the Odisha State Disaster Management Authority. According to the notification, the position of Executive Director is deemed equivalent in status and responsibility to that of an Additional Secretary in the IAS Cadre of the State.
Nikhil Pavan Kalyan, the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Jajpur, has been appointed as the Director of Soil Conservation and Watershed Development, Odisha, Bhubaneswar.
Bijay Kumar Dash, the Commissioner of Cuttack Municipal Corporation with additional duties as Vice Chairman of Cuttack Development Authority, has been appointed as the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Gajapati. Smruti Ranjan Pradhan, the current Collector and DM of Gajapati, has been appointed as the Collector and DM of Kendrapara.
Swadha Dev Singh, the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Nayagarh, has been appointed as the Additional Secretary to the Government in the PR & DW Department.
Parul Patawari, the State Project Director of OSEPA with additional responsibilities as Member Secretary of Mo School, has been appointed as the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Rayagada.
Amrit Ruturaj, the current Collector and DM of Dhenkanal, has been appointed as the Collector and DM of Kandhamal.
Siddeshwar Baliram Bondar, the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Bhadrak, has been appointed as the Collector and DM of Sambalpur.
Dattatraya Bhausaheb Shinde, the Collector and DM of Mayurbhanj, has been appointed as the Collector and DM of Cuttack.
Hema Kanta Say, the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Nuapada, has been appointed as the Collector and DM of Mayurbhanj.
P. Anvesha Reddy, the Collector and DM of Kalahandi, has been appointed as the Collector and DM of Jajpur.
Ashish Ishwar Patil, the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Kandhamal, has been appointed as the Collector and DM of Malkangiri.
Somesh Kumar Upadhyay, the Collector and DM of Deogarh, has been appointed as the Collector and DM of Dhenkanal.
Dr. Subhankar Mohapatra, the Director of Rural Development, has been appointed as the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Nabarangpur.

Manoj Satyawan Mahajan, the Collector and DM of Rayagada, has been appointed as the Collector and DM of Sundargarh.
Kabindra Kumar Sahu, OAS (SS), currently serving as the Executive Director (Land) at Odisha Mining Corporation Ltd., has been transferred and appointed as the Collector and District Magistrate (DM) of Deogarh.
Madhusudan Dash, OAS (SS), Special Secretary to the Government in the Odia Language, Literature, and Culture Department, has been transferred and posted as the Collector and DM of Nuapada.
Subrat Kumar Panda, OAS (SS), Special Secretary to the Government in the Rural Development Department, has been transferred and appointed as the Collector and DM of Boudh.
