Odisha government to issue notification for extension of HSRP deadline

Bhubaneswar, Sept 30: The Odisha government is likely to extend the deadline for affixation of high security registration plate (HSRP) in vehicles by one month. Sources said, the state government has given a proposal before Orissa High Court to extend the deadline of slot booking for HSRP by a month; meanwhile a notification in this regard is likely to be issued by Odisha government today. The Odisha government has already proposed to include post offices and public welfare offices for slot booking. The next date of hearing has been scheduled for October 23. Worth mentioning, the last date for affixation of HSRP on the old vehicles registered prior to 1st April, 2019 carrying Odisha Registration Mark and Registration Number ending with 1, 2, 3 and 4 is today.
