Bhubaneswar, March 3: While the Rajya Sabha Elections are afoot, BJP Central leadersships have announced nominees for Odisha.

The national party has named Odisha BJP Chief Manmohan Samal and Sujeet Kumar as nominees for the ensuing Rajya Sabha election from the state.

The BJP Central Office, New Delhi informed it on Tuesday through a press release.

According to the release, the BJP Central Committee has announced 9 nominees’ names for the incoming Rajya Sabha elections, for as many as 6 states including Odisha.

The release read, Odisha BJP President Manmohan Samal and Sujeet Kumar, have been named as nominees for the Rajya Sabha election, who will represent Odisha.

Worth mentioning, Sujeet Kumar is now representing Odisha in the Upper House whose tenure is going to be completed in April 2026. Meanwhile, he has been picked by BJP once again who will join the Rajya Sabha for the second time.
