Jajpur, June 18: The diarrhoea outbreak in Odisha’s Jajpur district has turned alarming, with the death toll rising to nine after two more fatalities were reported as of Wednesday morning.
The deceased have been identified as Sudhini Murmu, a one-year-old girl, and Puja Samad(25), both residents of the Chunbhati region in Byas Nagar.
The tragic series of deaths has left the district in mourning as authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the storm and its devastating impact on the region.
