New Delhi, Nov 25: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Tuesday praised the upcoming flag hoisting at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya, calling it a significant moment in India's "civilizational journey." The event, which marks the formal completion of the temple's construction, is being seen as a moment of profound cultural and spiritual importance.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), CM Yogi described the hoisting of the saffron flag by Prime Minister Narendra Modi as the start of a "golden chapter" in the history of faith, civilization, and humanity. He emphasized the symbolism of the event, stating that the flag represents the "religious and cultural restoration" of India.

"In the sacred hands of Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji and in the dignified presence of the esteemed Sarsanghchalak of @RSSorg, the revered Dr. Mohan Bhagwat ji, the grand saffron flag—symbolizing our religious and cultural restoration—will be hoisted atop the pinnacle of the ‘Rashtra Mandir’ Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple," CM Yogi wrote.

He further added that the flag hoisting represents a "proclamation of humanity’s soul," marking the "invincible victory of truth" and the "eternal immortality of faith." The flag is portrayed not just as a symbol, but as a representation of the inner strength that has kept the light of righteousness alive through the ages.

The saffron flag, specially crafted for the occasion, measures 22 feet in length and 11 feet in width. Designed by a parachute specialist from Ahmedabad, Gujarat, the flag weighs between 2 and 3 kilograms and is engineered to withstand the high altitudes of the temple's 161-foot summit and its 42-foot flagpole.

Prime Minister Modi will lead the hoisting ceremony, scheduled to take place around 12:00 p.m. during an auspicious period. CM Yogi also welcomed the distinguished guests and dignitaries who will be present to witness the momentous occasion, stressing the significance of the event for the nation.

Ayodhya has been placed under heightened security ahead of the ceremony, with authorities imposing strict measures, including a ban on mobile phones inside the temple premises for guests attending the event. Thousands of devotees, spiritual leaders, and dignitaries are expected to attend the flag hoisting, marking a historic moment in the ongoing cultural renaissance centered around Ayodhya.

The event is not just a religious milestone, but a symbol of India’s enduring civilizational ethos, with leaders and devotees alike viewing it as a triumph of faith, culture, and tradition.
