Bhubaneswar, Ap 24: The heatwave conditions prevailed across Odisha on Wednesday due to a high temperature.
According to the Regional Meteorological Office here, Talcher( 36°C ), Angul ( 35°C ), Balasore ( 35°C ), Bhubaneswar ( 34.2°C ), Jagatsinghpur ( 34°C )Chandbali ( 33.8°C ), Bhadrak ( 33.7°C ), Bhawanipatna ( 33.5°C ), Jharsuguda ( 33.2°C ), Boudh ( 33°C ), Baripada ( 33°C ), Cuttack ( 32.6°C ), Rourkela( 32.2°C ), Nayagarh ( 32°C ) and Kendrapara ( 32°C ).
One fatality and 124 cases of heat-related illnesses were reported across 16 districts in Odisha. A heatstroke-related death was reported in Balasore district. In certain areas, temperatures soared above 45.2°C this summer.
