Bhubaneswar, Jan 2: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today congratulated the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on the successful launch of India’s first X-ray Polarimeter Satellite (XpoSat) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
Taking to X (formerly Twitter) Patnaik said, “Congratulate @isro on the successful launch #India's first X-ray Polarimeter Satellite (#XpoSat) from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota. The XpoSat satellite will boost the scientific community’s ability to study X-ray emissions from cosmic sources and improve understanding of black holes.”
Worth mentioning, Indian Space Research Organisation successfully launched India's first X-Ray Polarimeter Satellite, also known as XPoSat, that would offer insights into celestial objects like black holes, onboard a Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle rocket from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on Monday.
