Keonjhar, June 23: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today began a two-day visit to his hometown of Ghatagaon in Keonjhar district. This marks his first visit to the constituency since assuming office.
After receiving a rousing welcome from people, CM Majhi held a roadshow from Ghatagaon High School ground to Maa Tarini temple.
During the roadshow, thousands of people gathered to catch a glimpse of CM Majhi, who waved to them in gratitude. The Chief Minister also received grievance letters from the crowd, assuring them that he would address their issues at the earliest.
Later today, CM Majhi is scheduled to attend a felicitation ceremony and address a public meeting in Keonjhar town, his Assembly constituency, in the afternoon.
After staying there overnight, he will visit his village, Raikala, in Keonjhar Sadar area on Monday morning where is scheduled to hold a road show from Raikala to Jhumpura and address a public meeting in the area.
