Bhubaneswar, Sept 25: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi ate lunch at the house of a dalit party worker in Bhubaneswar.
The Chief Minister today joined the party’s massive membership drive in the capital city of Odisha. During the campaign, Majhi had his lunch at the house a party worker Biswanath Sethi along with Ekamra-Bhubaneswar MLA Babu Singh.
As today is Dutiya, Sethi’s family served the Chief Minister special Dutiya Ghanta – an Odia cuisine, similar to mix-veg curry with traditional Odia preparation along with other dishes.
Majhi was served water rice (pakhala), mustard mushroom, patato chutney, bhaji, dahi-baigan, potal kurma, badhi chura and the dutiya special ghanta.
Notably, BJP is conducting a membership drive in the state with a goal to add 1 crore new members in Odisha as part of its nation-wide membehip drive programme.
