Chhatrapur, June 5: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi will lay the foundation stones for 12 industrial projects in Chhatrapur, located in Odisha’s Ganjam district, with a total investment of Rs 28,120 crore.
These initiatives are expected to generate significant employment, providing jobs for approximately 15,455 individuals, according to the state’s Industries Department.
Among the key projects, the CM will inaugurate Ocior Energy Private Limited’s green hydrogen and green ammonia venture, Petronet LNG Limited’s LNG terminal, UPL Limited’s specialty chemicals plant, and HHP Five Private Limited’s green hydrogen and ammonia project. Additionally, green energy equipment facilities from Saatvik Solar Industries Private Limited and World Green Energy Private Limited are also part of the launch.
In a statement shared on social media, Odisha's Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain emphasized the state's progress: “Odisha is advancing with strong industrial growth. Join us as CM Mohan Charan Majhi takes a significant step toward inclusive development and economic transformation by laying the foundation for these 12 major industrial projects in Chhatrapur, Ganjam."
