Bhubaneswar, January 10: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday inaugurated development projects worth ₹948 crore in Sambalpur.

The projects include a new drinking water supply initiative, a state-of-the-art trauma care building, and the introduction of eco-friendly e-bus services.

During the inauguration, Majhi emphasized the government's vision for Sambalpur, stressing its commitment to transforming the district into a model of development. He highlighted the dual focus on both infrastructure expansion and social progress. He also reiterated the importance of creating sustainable solutions that directly benefit residents.

The newly launched projects are expected to significantly improve the lives of thousands, addressing critical issues such as reliable water supply, emergency healthcare, and eco-friendly transportation in Sambalpur .

These initiatives are part of the state government’s larger strategy for balanced and inclusive growth across western Odisha.
