Bhubaneswar, June 1: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Sunday evening visited the iconic Kalinga Studio to review ongoing redevelopment work.
Accompanied by accompanied by Industries Minister Sampad Chandra Swain, Industries and key officials and film personalities, Majhi appreciated the new infrastructure and directed the preparation of a detailed project report to upgrade the studio into a world-class facility.
He also called for input from the Odia film fraternity to enhance the studio further.
Originally established in 1980, Kalinga Studio had lost prominence after the 1999 super cyclone and outdated facilities. Since taking office, CM Majhi has pushed for its rapid transformation, with several modern amenities already developed.
