Bhubaneswar, Sept 21: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi held a 'Chai Pe Charcha' talk program on Saturday morning on the second day of his three-day visit to his home district of Keonjhar.
He talked with his old friends and locals while shipping his favourite cup of tea at 'Bideshi Babu Tea Stall'. "I used to visit the tea stall and we discuss politics and other stuff over tea," the CM said.
People also saw the sporty nature of the Odisha Chief Minister as he did his morning walk at Keonjhar Stadium wearing sports attire with his friends and others.
He also emphasised the benefits of regular exercise for health, particularly in managing diabetes.
CM Majhi, a former football player, discussed with the District Collector and other officials regarding the improvement of sports infrastructures in the district.
Majhi expressed his desire to build a national-level stadium in Keonjhar, which could nurture national-level athletes and provide world-class facilities.
Speaking to the media, the CM shared that the Odisha government has a master plan to enhance the state's sports infrastructure.
Majhi's visit includes attending a series of events and inaugurating several developmental projects during his stay.
