Odisha CM Majhi Congratulates Class-10 Students on Their Success

Bhubaneswar, May 2: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi extended his warm congratulations and best wishes to all the students who have successfully passed the annual High School Certificate (Matric) Examination and the Madhya and State Open School Certificate Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha.

The results of the Matric Examination 2026 were declared today. In a message shared on X, CM Majhi expressed: “I offer my heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to all the students who have passed the annual High School Certificate Examination and the Madhya and State Open School Certificate Examination conducted by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. I encourage everyone to move forward with confidence and not be discouraged, regardless of the exam outcomes. The determination and perseverance of our students will contribute to building a prosperous Odisha in the future. I wish everyone a bright and successful journey ahead.”

The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, announced the results of the 2026 High School Certificate (HSC) or Matric Examination on Saturday, revealing an overall pass percentage of 95.33%. A total of 5,36,306 students appeared for the examination this year, with 5,19,251 candidates passing successfully. The Board also reported that 8,364 students were absent for the exam.

In terms of grades, 2,456 students earned an A1 grade, 15,681 students received an A2, 43,565 achieved B1, 86,103 secured B2, 1,29,813 attained C grade, 1,46,152 were placed in D grade, and 95,481 students passed with an E grade.

The results were officially announced at a special event held at the BSE office, with School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond, Board President Srikanta Tarai, and other senior officials in attendance.
