Koraput, Ap 23: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, and Deputy Chief Minister Prabhati Parida, congratulated Koraput District Collector, V Keerthi Vasan, on being awarded for the Prime Minister's Award for Excellence in Public Administration 2024 in the 'Holistic Development of Districts' category.
The Chief Minister also extended his congratulations to all the district officials and the general public during a ceremony at the Lok Sabha Bhawan. He expressed that this achievement of Koraput district would serve as a guiding example for other districts in the future.
This prestigious national recognition celebrates Koraput’s exceptional and efficient governance and the district’s successful implementation of 11 major central government schemes such as Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, Sakhyam Anganwadi, Poshan Yojana, and other schemes over the last 18 months.
The award recognises Koraput district’s significant contributions to overall development, particularly in effectively implementing 11 central government schemes. By engaging with the public and showcasing its capabilities, the district administration has earned its place among the best districts in the country.
