Cuttack, May 2: The Board of Secondary Education (BSE) on Saturday recorded an overall pass percentage of 95.33% in the Class 10 (Matric) examinations. Out of around 5.36 lakh students who appeared for the examination across 3,082 examination centres in the State, a total of 5,15,251 candidates have successfully cleared the exam.

Last year, the overall pass percentage for Matric exam recorded at 94.93%.

As per the BSE, while 2,456 students have secured A1 grade, 15,681 students have secured A2 while 43,565 students have secured B1; 86,103 students passed the examination in B2 grade followed by 1,29,803 students in C grade, 1,46,152 students in D grade and 95,481 students E grade.

Notably, 8,364 students were absent during the exam period.

Gajapati district emerged as the top performer, recording a remarkable 99% pass rate while Keonjhar district recorded the lowest pass rate at 95.33% this year.

As many as 3,310 schools have achieved a 100% pass rate.

School and Mass Education Minister Nityananda Gond on Saturday announced the Class 10 (Matric) Result 2026 at the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) office in Cuttack. The results was first be announced during a press conference, after which the online scorecard links are expected to go live later in the evening for students to access their marks.

Students who appeared for the Annual High School Certificate (AHSC) exams can check their results on official portals such as bseodisha.ac.in, and bseodisha.nic.in as the link goes online.

Students can access their results through SMS: Type OR10 <roll number> and send it to 5676750. Result can also be accessed at http://bseodisha.ac.in.
