Khordha, May 26: The body of a youth was found floating in a well in Tangi area of Odisha’s Khordha district on Monday morning.
The deceased youth has been identified as Bulu Muduli (36) and the incident has been reported from Pariorad Tutumbarpalli village under Tangi Police Station limits in the district.
According to the victim's family, Bulu Muduli went to bed after having dinner as usual last night. When he was missing the next morning, they searched everywhere but couldn't find him. Later, some villagers spotted him floating in a well in the village and alerted the police.
Upon getting the information, police along with Tangi Fire Services Department arrived at the spot and rescued him from the well. He was then taken to the Tangi Community Health Centre (CHC) where the doctors pronounced him dead. The cops seized his body and sent it for post-mortem.
The circumstances that led to Bulu’s death are yet to be ascertained.
An unnatural death case has been registered and further investigation into the matter is underway.
