Bhubaneswar, Feb 10: Chocolate Day, a day of adding sweet to one’s love & lovers during the Valentine week, turned fatal for a cab driver in Bhubaneswar on Monday.

Let alone, further intimacy - a joyous city-ride or closeup in a park, on the day of enhanced romance. However, the youngster was brutally killed following a honey-trap set by his fiancée & her ex-boyfriend.

The bloodshed of one Satyabrata Pradhan, took place in the Capital City yesterday, diluted the chocolate day & the Valentine spirit, as Pradhan, who was in a love relationship with a beautician named Liza, was stabbed to death by his fiancée and her ex-boyfriend.

If the horror scene was played at Liza’s rented house at Chandrasekharpur area in the wee hours, blood stain spotted the Capital Hospital, later even far at the Sishu Bhawan overbridge.

The key assassin, identified as Dinesh Kandi met with an accident while escaping the scene with the deceased’s car.

The speeding car plunged into the overbridge and fell on a rooftop.

According to police, Satyabrata, a Brahmagiri-based a cab driver had travelled to Bhubaneswar to meet his girlfriend Liza, to handover chocolate ahead of the Valentine Day. Meanwhile, the woman’s ex-boyfriend Dinesh allegedly stabbed Satyabrata and slit his throat all of a sudden.

Police have detained the accused woman, identified as Liza Bhoi, a native of Jagatsinghpur district, for questioning.

Kandi is in the run after survival from the accident.

Investigation revealed, Liza and Dinesh were in a live-in relationship and were residing together in Bhubaneswar.

On the other hand, Satyabrata’s family alleged that Liza was in relationships with multiple individuals. However, she had promised to marry Satyabrata.
