Odisha: Free ride on Vande Bharat Express for 50 selected students of SSVM

Bhubaneswar, Aug 14: Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw has unveiled an initiative where selected 50 students from Saraswati Vidya Mandir schools will have the unique opportunity to get a free ride on Vande Bharat Express.

 

The selection of these 50 students will be done through a competition. This announcement was made by the Minister during the auspicious Bhumi Pujan ceremony held at the Saraswati Vidya Mandir School on Sunday.

 

The Union Minister performed the Bhumi Pujan event for the Saraswati Vidya Mandir School, underlining the importance of education and its connection with the nation's railway sector. He also interacted with the students.

 

Addressing the press on this occasion, the Minister shared that the students had expressed their eagerness to experience a journey on Vande Bharat Express after watching a video. In response to their enthusiasm, a competition is being organized, and out of the participants, a select group of 50 students will be awarded the opportunity to take a ride on the Vande Bharat Express.

 

The inauguration of the Vande Bharat train took place in Odisha by Prime Minister Narendra Modi via video conferencing on May 18. Operating along the Puri to Howrah route, this train has been hailed for its modern features and efficient connectivity.
