Boudh, Dec 1: In a brazen daylight theft, more than ₹30 lakh is believed to have been stolen from the Boudh Head Post Office. The Boudh Police have reached the site and launched an investigation.

According to reports, the post office, located in the bustling Podapoda area of Boudh town, was closed on Sunday. When employees arrived on Monday to open the office, they discovered that the rear grill had been broken. The culprits reportedly broke into the office locker and made off with all the cash inside. While the exact amount in the locker is yet to be confirmed, preliminary estimates suggest the stolen sum exceeds ₹30 lakh.

Authorities are currently examining the premises and reviewing security footage as part of their ongoing investigation.
