Odia film Tejaswini which runs with a realistic achievement of a female health worker named K Krishna Kumari from Odisha’s Berhampur is going to hit the Odisha Theatres this month.
Sources said, Paramedical professional Krishna Kumari had become a media glare after she was awarded the President of India’s Service Award 2017, for her outstanding services to the locals. Based on the success story and the treading journey of Krishna Kumari, Tejawini movie was conceptualized wherein K Krishna Kumari played as a side actress.
Incorporating ace actors and actresses from the Ollywood Industries, the Tejaswini was produced on the life history and the very role of a female health worker. The storyline proceeds with as many as 16 key problems which hinder women's empowerment and the key role of a mere health worker, associated with the Kukudakhandi Community Health Centre, situated in the rural pocket of Odisha. The film, Directed by Kunal Pattnaik, has been exhibited in at least 40 nations on OTT platforms so far and earned abundant name and fame. Apart from it, it has clinched a number of appreciations worldwide.
