New Delhi, December 15: Nitin Nabin, a prominent Bihar Minister and five-time MLA, officially took charge as the Bharatiya Janata Party's (BJP) National Working President on Monday. His appointment was marked by a ceremony attended by top party leaders, including Union Home Minister Amit Shah and BJP National President JP Nadda. Other senior leaders, such as Union Minister Piyush Goyal and Delhi BJP Chief Virendraa Sachdeva, were also present to witness the occasion.

At 45 years old, Nabin becomes the youngest National Working President of the BJP. Currently serving as Bihar's Road Construction Minister, Nabin has previously held significant roles, including in the Urban Development and Housing departments, as well as the Law Ministry.

Upon arriving at the BJP headquarters in Delhi, Nabin was greeted with enthusiastic slogans from party workers. He paid tribute to Shyama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, two influential figures in the BJP’s history.

A seasoned politician and the son of veteran BJP leader Navin Kishore Prasad Sinha, Nabin blends administrative expertise with a deep-rooted career in the party’s organizational structure. Before leaving for Delhi, Nabin expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the people of Bihar and his constituency for their continuous support, acknowledging their blessings as instrumental in his rise to this prestigious position. "The blessings of the people from my constituency have made this possible," he said.

Nabin also credited the guidance of key leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah, and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, for entrusting him with the responsibility. "I am deeply grateful to the central leadership, Prime Minister, Home Minister, and Defence Minister for this opportunity. With the Prime Minister's blessings, I am committed to advancing his vision and leadership," he added.
