Bhubaneswar, April 20: Odia Actress Varsha Priyadarshini paid obeisance to Cuttack Chandi after she was fielded by the BJD from the Barchana Assembly Constituency on Saturday.
The Ollywood Actress visited Maa Cuttack Chandi Temple in the afternoon and offered a puja before the Goddess.
Asked on her visit without any schedule, the Odia actress said, Maa Cuttack Chandi, the presiding goddess of the Cuttack City, has been shielding her agaist all sorts of misery & misfortunes and always safeguarding her.
“For the blessings and mercy of Maa Cuttack Chandi, I have earned the credibility of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. He has suo moto bestowed the BJD ticket for the Barachana Assembly Constituency soon after I joined the party” Said Varsha.
" I seek blessings from the Barachana people to serve them better", she added.
