Red Fort Blast Probe: 'Doctor Module' Linked to Turkey-Based Handler 'Ukasa'

Investigators in the Red Fort blast case have made a significant breakthrough, uncovering a direct Delhi terror link to a foreign handler based in Ankara, Turkey.

Sources within the investigation revealed that the arrested suspects, including the main accused Dr. Umar Un Nabi, were operating under the direction of a mysterious figure codenamed "Ukasa." This handler, whose codename means 'spider' in Arabic, is believed to have coordinated the cell's activities from Turkey.

The "doctor module," named for the educated professionals in its ranks, was apparently in constant contact with Ukasa. To avoid being tracked by security agencies, the group used highly encrypted messaging apps, specifically the 'Session' app. This platform is known for its extreme level of anonymity, making it difficult for agencies to intercept communications.

"The communication between the accused and their handler was exclusively through the Session app," a senior official stated. "It's clear the group was operating under foreign direction."

The investigation has also uncovered that several individuals connected to this module travelled from India to Ankara in March 2022. It is strongly suspected that this trip was when they first made contact with Ukasa, who then radicalised them and recruited them into the terror network.

According to sources, the Ukasa handler was responsible for coordinating the group's finances, movements, and radicalisation efforts, effectively remote-controlling the module from Turkey.

This discovery points to a serious national security threat, where educated Indian professionals are being targeted and manipulated by foreign entities.

Agencies are now meticulously examining all recovered digital devices, chat histories, and call logs. The goal is to map out the full extent of this network and investigate any potential links to Pakistan-based terror groups.
