Balasore, Sept 12: A nursing student in Balasore district, Odisha, has tragically lost his life, reportedly after losing money in an online game. The incident took place at the District Headquarter Hospital in Balasore, where the student was found dead in the surgery ward.

The deceased has been identified as 20-year-old Roumya Ranjan Samal, a BSc Nursing student. According to reports, an employee of the hospital discovered his body in the dressing room of the surgery ward late last night.

Roumya Ranjan’s father works at the same hospital. The family is deeply saddened by the death of their only son.

Authorities suspect that the student may have died after losing money in an online game, but the exact cause of death is still under investigation. Police are looking into the matter further.
