Bhubaneswar/New Delhi, Nov 18, 2025: The 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF), underway at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi, has witnessed the Odisha Pavilion stand out as a major attraction, earning accolades for its vibrant display of the state’s agricultural innovations, eco-friendly initiatives, and rich cultural heritage. Odisha's Deputy Chief Minister, Shri Kanak Vardhan Singh Deo, visited the Odisha Pavilion at the 44th India International Trade Fair (IITF) 2025, emphasizing that the pavilion reflects a unified effort in line with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat,’ as well as Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s ‘Odisha Vision 2036’.The fair, which runs from November 14 to 27, highlights Odisha’s unique contributions to India’s growth under the theme “Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat.”

The Odisha Pavilion, led by Chief Minister Mohan Majhi, offers an insightful look into the state's strides in sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, and cutting-edge technologies. A central focus of the pavilion is the state's "Vision 2036" initiative, which aims to transform Odisha into a leading hub for sustainable development.

A key highlight of the pavilion is its emphasis on eco-friendly practices, including organic farming, water conservation, and the use of renewable energy. Visitors can also explore Odisha’s traditional art forms and craftsmanship, which have gained national and international recognition.

Chief Minister Mohan Majhi has underscored the importance of fostering agricultural collaborations across India, especially in areas like crop diversification, water management, and rural development. He stressed that the IITF provides an invaluable platform for knowledge exchange and networking, helping drive innovation in agriculture.

The Odisha Pavilion has also been praised for its visually appealing design, featuring a mix of traditional art, sculptures, and modern technology displays. The pavilion provides a space for visitors to engage directly with farmers, artisans, and entrepreneurs, promoting mutual learning and collaboration.

Odisha's participation in the trade fair has attracted attention from various sectors, including government officials, entrepreneurs, and international investors. Among the visitors was Anurag Bajaj, Additional Chief Secretary of Manipur, who commended the Odisha Pavilion for integrating traditional knowledge with modern technologies and applauded the state’s innovative approach to sustainable agriculture.
