Patna, Nov 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Patna on Thursday to attend Nitish Kumar’s swearing-in ceremony.

The Prime Minister reportedly flew from Delhi to the Patna Airport in a special aircraft whereas he arrived the Gandhi Maidan by helicopter to reach the venue ahead of the celebration.

According to reports, three special helipads were constructed inside the Gandhi Maidan toward the Kargil Chowk in Patna City to facilitate PM Modi’s arrival.

The entire security grid amid the PM’s visit was managed with the supervision of the SPG.

Following the PM’s arrival, the swearing-in ceremony of Nitish and his Cabinet at the Gandhi Maidan began amid an extensive three-tier security.

Officials said Gandhi Maidan was been transformed into a fortified venue, with three bedecked stages. The main dais will comprise the Prime Minister Modi, Governor, Chief Minister and other senior leaders with key invitees.

A second stage is readied for the VIPs, while a third is being prepared for cultural performances.

With a historic win, JD(U) Chief Nitish Kumar is going to be the Bihar Chief Minister for the 10th time.

Nitish is taking his oath as the 10-time CM of Bihar today along with his new team. Meanwhile, the BJD top leaderships reached the site ahead of the swearing-in ceremony of the CM and his Cabinet members’ induction.
