New Delhi, Oct 18: Nikita Porwal from Madhya Pradesh was crowned the queen at the 60th edition of Femina Miss India World, held at Famous Studios in Mumbai on October 16, 2024. The 18-year-old actress from Ujjain has already made a name for herself in theater, storytelling, and advocacy.
As Miss India, she will represent the country at the Miss World competition. Last year's titleholder, Nandini Gupta, crowned Nikita, with actress Neha Dhupia presenting her with the prestigious sash.
Rekha Pandey from the Union Territory of Daman and Diu was named the first runner-up, while Aayushi Dholakia from Gujarat secured the second runner-up title.
Rekha, a graduate in Film and Mass Communication based in Mumbai, aims to inspire rural women through her platform, drawing motivation from Priyanka Chopra’s journey. Aayushi, the second runner-up, is a passionate advocate for fitness and wellness, aspiring to inspire young women with her resilience and dedication.
