Night temperature likely to fall by 2-3 degree Celsius across Odisha during next 2 days: IMD

Bhubaneswar, Dec 11: Night temperature is likely to fall by 2-3 degree Celsius across Odisha during next 2 days. This forecast was made by the India Meteorological Department (IMD).

IMD said that dense to very dense fog has occurred at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh and Koraput while minimum temperatures declined at one or two places over the districts of North Odisha.

The highest maximum temperature of 32.0°C was recorded at Paralakhemundi and the lowest minimum temperature of 11.5°C was recorded at Keonjhar in the plains of Odisha. As many as 15 places recoded minimum temperature of 15 degree Celsius and below. 

“Temperature declined at one or two places over the districts of interior Odisha amd north coastal Odisha and no large change elsewhere over the districts of Odisha. They were markedly above normal at one or two places over the districts of interior Odisha, appreciably above normal at a few places over the districts of interior Odisha, above normal at many places over the districts of coastal Odisha, at one or two places over the districts of interior Odisha and normal at elsewhere over other districts,” said the IMD.
