Bhubaneswar, Feb 24: The Mini Jurassic Park located at the Regional Science Centre is undergoing an expansion. The upgraded park will feature a beautifully landscaped area at its entrance, equipped with advanced scientific tools. Interactive elements such as LED boards and a rope climber will be installed, and more dinosaur replicas will be set up for visitors to explore.

One of the key attractions will be a Selfie with Dinosaur, where children and visitors can take pictures along with the life-size dinosaur replicas. Additionally, guides will be employed to educate visitors about the different types of dinosaurs, their evolution, and other scientific details.

A special program featuring experts will also be organized to provide deeper insights into the world of dinosaurs. The park underwent renovation last February and was reopened under the name Living Dinosaur - Prehistoric Kingdom, though locals continue to refer to it as the Mini Jurassic Park or Dinosaur Park.

The park attracts about 300 visitors daily, and it remains open during two time slots: in the morning and evening. The evening sessions are especially popular as the park has light shows and sound effects that draw in more people. Kapil Jain, the center's coordinator, mentioned, "We are implementing several plans to make the center more attractive. After launching the Mini Jurassic Park last year, we are now focusing on upgrading its features this year."
