Banki, Aug 31: In an unfortunate incident, the hanging bodies of a newlywed couple were recovered from a closed room on Thursday. The incident has been reported from Bheda Ramachandrapur village of Banki.
The deceased have been identified as Dharanidhar Sahoo and his wife Nirupama Sahoo. Both had tied the knot just seven months ago. Dharanidhar, who was running a sweet shop in Bhubaneswar, had come to the village on Wednesday. However, their hanging bodies have been recovered from a room.
Being informed, police reached the spot, seized the bodies and started investigation into the incident.
“Bodies of a newlywed couple have been recovered and sent for autopsy. It has been suspected that, they might have committed suicide. However, we have been trying to find out the actual reason for their death,” said police.
