Pro-tem Assembly Speaker Ranendra Pratap Swain will administer the oath to the MLAs.

The date for submitting nominations for the post of Assembly Speaker has been set for June 19, with the election to be held on June 20. Ranpur MLA Surama Padhi is widely expected to be the BJP's nominee for Speaker.
