​​​​​​​Bhubaneswar, Jan 30: Cops of the Capital Police Station, Bhubaneswar on Friday recovered a Jharsuguda man’s body from the official residence of the Food & Supplies Minister.

Though the reason behind the man’s death is yet unclear, the police suspect it a case of electrocution.

The deceased has been identified as Shankarshan Nag(46), who was working as a domestic help in the official residence of Odisha Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Minister Krushna Chandra Patra.

On being informed, the police recovered the body and sent it for postmortem examinations, following inquest.

According to police, preliminary findings suggested that Shankarshan’s death was due to electrocution.

An Unnatural Death(UD) case has been registered in this connection while further investigation is underway to find the circumstances that caused electrical accident and led to the loss of a life.
