Patna, June 20: In a shocking turn of events, the mastermind of the recent NEET Paper leak case has confessed to have orchestrated the question paper leak a day before the day of the examination at a whooping price of Rs 32 lakh, as per ABP Live report.
According to ABP Live report, the mastermind, identified as Amit Anand, purportedly revealed in his confession that the students were provided with the question paper in exchange of money, ranging from Rs 30-32 lakh, on the eve of the examination.
The students were then made to memorise the answers overnight and later appeared for the examination.
He further revealed that the police recovered burnt remains of the NEET UG question paper and answer guides from his flat, reported ABP Live.
This revelation has triggered massive public outrage with students demanding for cancellation of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (Undergraduate) 2024 and conducting a re-examination.
Notably, as many as 13 people have been arrested so far in connection with the paper leak case.
