New Delhi, July 21: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged all the MPs to get united for the nation’s interest.

“The country has seen the power of unity. So all the Members of Parliament in the House should give it strength, take it forward. Every political party has its own agenda, its own role, but I accept this reality that even if our opinions don't match on personal matters, our hearts must unite for the nation's interest,” said PM Modi as he addressed the media ahead of the Monsoon Session of the Parliament.

Modi said, “The monsoon is a symbol of renewal and new creation. According to the news so far, the weather across the country is progressing well. There are reports of a beneficial season for agriculture.”

Maintaining that rain is significant for the farmers' economy, national economy, rural economy, and the economy of every household, Modi said, “In the last 10 years, this time there have been three times the water storage. This will significantly benefit the nation's economy in the coming days.”

“This Monsoon session of Parliament is like a victory celebration for the nation. For the first time ever, India's flag has been hoisted at the International Space Station, a moment of immense pride for every Indian. This successful journey has instilled new enthusiasm and excitement for science, technology, and innovation in the country,” said the Prime Minister.

“Both Houses of Parliament, along with citizens across India, will unite in celebrating this achievement. It will serve as an inspiration for our future missions. The world has witnessed the strength of India's military power. In Operation Sindoor, Indian soldiers achieved their objective with 100% success, demolishing the masterminds behind terrorism in their hideouts,” added Modi.

PM Modi said, “India has endured many violent challenges, be it terrorism or Naxalism, but today, the influence of Naxalism and Maoism is shrinking rapidly. The Armed Forces are advancing with renewed confidence, determined to eliminate Maoism and Naxalism. The Constitution prevails over bombs and guns. The red corridors of the past are now transforming into green zones of growth and development.”

Stating that Digital India is making waves globally, with UPI gaining popularity across many countries, the Prime Minister said, “It has become a recognised name in the world of Fin Tech.” “The International Labour Organization reported that over 90 crore people in India are now covered under social security, which is a significant achievement. WHO recently declared India free from Trachoma, a notable progress in the field of healthcare,” Modi further stated.

“The brutal massacre in Pahalgam shocked the entire world and drew global attention to terrorism and its epicentre. Rising above party lines, representatives from India came together and travelled across the world to expose Pakistan’s role,” urged Modi.
