Bhubaneswar, Feb 22: Higher Education department has sanctioned Rs 1.73 crore for development of 11 colleges and one university in Odisha under 'Ama Gourav Ama College’ scheme.

The institutions set to benefit from this are Ravenshaw University, Agalpur Panchayat Samiti (Degree) College, Bijepur (Degree) College, Salepur (Autonomous) College, Biren Mitra Memorial Women's (Degree) College, Panchayat Degree College, Kalla, Hindol (Degree) College, Mahima Degree College,

Belaguntha Science Degree College, Naktideul Degree College, Government Autonomous College, Phulbani and Jasoda Bishnu College.

The funding aims to support infrastructure and academic development projects for the institution. The sanctioned funds will be utilized for multiple development projects, including strengthening library resources, construction of laboratories, sports and academic complexes, installation of Wi-Fi connectivity, CCTV surveillance etc. 

The project aims to modernize infrastructure, ensuring better opportunities for the students.
