Kolkata, June 29: Archana Majumdar, a member of the National Commission for Women (NCW), visited the South Kolkata Law College on Sunday after reports emerged that a student had been gang-raped by three individuals, including a former student of the institution.
During her visit, Majumdar expressed concern over the lack of information provided by the police regarding the survivor’s current location and well-being.
“The Commission is here to support her,” she affirmed, emphasizing that the NCW is committed to standing by survivors for as long as they seek assistance.
