Keonjhar, Oct 2: In a tragic incident, a man died of electrocution while repairing a water pump at his residence in Ramachandrapur area of Odisha’s Keonjhar district today morning.

The deceased has been identified as Subrat Kumar Sahoo and the incident has been reported from Bhaganai village under Ramachandrapur police limits in the district.

According to reports, Subrat was repairing a water pump when he accidentally came into contact with a live electrical wire and died instantly.

Upon getting the information, Ramachandrapur police arrived at the spot and seized the body. Subsequently, it was sent for post-mortem.

Further investigation into the incident is underway.
