NEET PG Results for 50% All India Quota Declared
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the results for the NEET PG 2025, specifically for admissions under the All India 50% quota. This is a crucial announcement for thousands of medical graduates seeking admission to postgraduate MD, MS, and diploma courses across the country.
The merit list, which is now available on the official NBEMS website, is the basis for counselling for the All India 50% quota seats. It is important for candidates to understand that this list is separate from the state quota merit lists, which will be prepared by individual state authorities based on their own eligibility and reservation policies. While the merit list is out, individual scorecards will be available for download from the NBEMS website starting September 5, 2025.
Understanding Your Scorecard and Ranks
The downloadable scorecard will contain three distinct ranks:
NEET-PG 2025 Rank: Your overall all-India merit position.
All India 50% Quota Rank: Your rank among candidates eligible for the 50% quota, which will be used for the upcoming counselling.
All India 50% Quota Category Rank: Your rank within your specific reserved category for the 50% quota.
Next Steps: The Counselling Process
Candidates who have met the cut-off scores are now eligible to participate in the online counselling process. This will be conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). Aspirants are urged to regularly check the official NBEMS and MCC websites for detailed schedules and procedures for the upcoming counselling sessions.
