Puri, Jan 23: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik in his maiden visit to Puri, after the inauguration of the Parikrama Project, went around the Shree Jagannath Heritage corridor on Tuesday.
Naveen expressed ecstasy during his walk on the thoroughfare, newly developed under the 5T initiatives.
The Chief Minister visited the temple to have darshan and experience the new facilities available to the devotees. He also offered prayers to Lord Jagannath in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple in the evening. Patnaik wished before the deity for the prosperity and well-being of the people.
5T and Nabin Odisha Chairman VK Pandian accompanied him to the pilgrim town.
Expressing immense satisfaction over the magnificence of the project and the spiritual environment, Patnaik said the project will give a spiritual environment to devotees for generations.
