Bhubaneswar, Feb 19: Naveen Patnaik is the most popular Chief Minister of the country, according to the Mood of the Nation survey.
The 77-year-old Chief Minister of Odisha who has held office since March 2000 received a popularity rating of 52.7 per cent. He is one of the longest serving Chief Ministers of the country.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Aditynath ranked second in the survey with a popularity rating of 51.3 per cent in the survey followed by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma with a popularity rating of 48.6 per cent.
Yogi has been in office for almost seven years now as the longest serving Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.
Himanta Biswa Sarma, a former Congress member, joined the BJP in 2015 and assumed office as the 15th Chief Minister of Assam in May 2021.
The fourth place was occupied by Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel with a popularity rating of 42.6 per cent while Tripura's Manik Saha occupied the fifth position in the survey with a popularity rating of 41.4 per cent.
