Bhubaneswar, March 15:Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday announced revised (Modified Assured Career Progression Scheme (MACP) rules of the fully-aided private colleges.
Addressing the plights of the teaching and non-teaching staff of the fully aided colleges, the Modified Assured Career Progression provided under the Odisha Revised Pay Scale Rules, 2017, was simplified.
According to the revision, MACP of the colleges will be determined based on the date of receipt of the first grant not the 100% grant.
Two advance increments in the appropriate pay scale at entry level only, (only in faculty position) will be granted as an incentive to faculty members for acquiring PhD degree during employment.
Worth mentioning, during the district visits of 5T Chairman Karthik Pandian, staff of the fully aided private colleges had appealed the CM to address their economic and career- related issues.
