Bhubaneswar: Rowing Federation of India in association with Odisha Association for Rowing and Sculling (OARS) is going to host 1st National Indoor Rowing Championship at JN Indoor Stadium, Cuttack from 8-11 April 2026.

Total 600 rowers including 250 women will participate in the meet. A 33-member host team with 17 women players will fight for the top honour. The players will arrive on 8th April and the inauguration will be held on 9th April. 

To host the event, SAI National Centre of Excellence will extend technical support and the equipment.

Odisha players always contributed at the top level National platform. We are proud to host the 1st National Indoor Rowing meet in our State, said OARS president Binod Dash.

We are eagerly waiting to welcome the best rowers to our State.  We are confident our local players will make the State proud by making the podium finish, said OARS Secretary Amar Joyti Singh Deo.
